Kevin (Violin & Viola)

Kevin holds his Bachelor's degree of Music in Violin Performance from Pennsylvania State University. He also holds a Master's degree of Music in Performance with Suzuki Pedagogy emphasis from East Carolina University. He has taught in Greenville, NC while completing his studies at East Carolina University gaining broad experience through group and private instruction. He is in demand as a teacher and performer throughout the Triangle area.

David (Cello)

David is an active Cellist as a soloist, an orchestral performer, and as a chamber musician and he is a busy cello instructor.
His musical education includes from Eastman School of Music, Saint Louis Conservatory of Music, and East Carolina University.
He participated in such music festival as Spoleto Music Festival, and Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute.
He performed with the North Carolina Symphony for many years, as well as Charleston Symphony and Virginia Symphony.

Jaimi (Violin)

Jaimi is a member of the Carolina Philharmonic, Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, and the Tar River Orchestra. She also currently plays with the North Carolina Symphony, North Carolina Opera, Carolina Ballet, Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, and Raleigh Symphony as a substitute or extra player. Previously she has also played with the Long Bay Symphony, Durham Symphony, Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra, and Oxford Chamber Orchestra. Jaimi has played for weddings, musicals, churches, and other events in Ohio and North Carolina for more than 20 years.

Jaimi began playing the violin in school orchestra when she was 9 years old. Her primary teachers include Xiao-Guang Zhu (1997-2002), Emma Rubinstein at Miami University in Ohio (2002-2003) and Brian Reagin in North Carolina (2007-2009/2018-2022). She has also enjoyed summer studies with Daniel Vega-Albela at Interlochen Arts Camp (2002 & 2003), Kati Sebestyen at Académie Músicale de Morges, Switzerland (2008), and Gerardo Ribeiro at Meadowmount (2009).

Jaimi earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Kettering College. She lives near Raleigh with her spouse and their four children.

Craig (Violin & Piano)

Craig is a graduate of the UNC School of the Arts with a focus in Violin Performance. He has been active in the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill music community for over 25 years as a violinist, pianist, composer and music educator. He had an early musical start at the age of five with piano lessons and later violin. At the age of ten, he began writing original piano works, which then led to larger chamber works and later culminated into symphonic works. In addition to performing with such groups as the Raleigh Symphony, Durham Symphony and NC Theater, Craig has also been playing weddings and other social/corporate events for over 25 years. He was commissioned by the Philharmonic Association to compose a piece of music for their 25th anniversary, which was performed back in 2013. Since then, he has had a range of different original ensemble works performed by various groups in the area such as School of Science and Math Orchestra, Lamar Stringfield Advanced Orchestra and, most recently, the Raleigh Symphony’s premier of “The Grand”, which was performed in 2021. Craig currently lives in Raleigh with his wife and two children.

Audrey (Violin)

My name is Audrey Fogle, I teach violin and fiddle to all ages. I also perform in weddings, and graduated from ECU with a bachelor’s degree in music string performance. I am a mother of two sweet children. My husband is a Police Officer for the town of Holly Springs. I love painting, drawing, being outside, helping others and working in my garden.

Ariana (Cello)

Ariana received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in performance from Converse College and Florida State University where she studied with Kenneth Law and Gregory Sauer. At Converse College, Mrs. Ariana was a member of the Honors Undergraduate String Quartet and while at Florida State she played as principal and assistant principal with the University Symphony Orchestra. She is the principal cellist of the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra were she has been a featured soloist. She is also a member of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra. Most notable performances have been with Yo-Yo Ma, The Ten Tenors, Weird Al Yankovic, Mannheim SteamRoller, and The Eagles.
She lives in Fuquay-varina with her family.

David (Double Bass)

For over 25 years, Dave has performed on string bass, bass guitar, piano and organ with many outstanding orchestras and musicians in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Michigan and beyond. These include the Raleigh Symphony Orchestra, North Carolina Symphony, Jackson Symphony (MI), Carolina Philharmonic, Long Bay Symphony, Tar River Orchestra, Wilmington Symphony, Fayetteville Symphony, as well string quintets, a jazz band, churches, a rock band, and chamber music ensembles. He's toured and/or performed for many years in educational concerts and shows for North and South Carolina’s youth with several of these orchestras. David holds a bachelor’s degree in music from Lawrence University of Wisconsin, and a master’s degree in music from East Carolina University. He maintains an active studio teaching piano and bass, and has taught many applied and academic music courses for universities and community colleges. Dave lives with his family in Raleigh.

Mansi (Flute)

Mansi Shah is a flutist and data scientist from Cary, NC whose work explores spaces where artistic rigor and technical curiosity collide. She believes data (like art!) imitates life, and is interested in the profoundly human stories behind numbers and notes. She is a versatile performer and has performed in solo recitals and collaborative concerts, as well as with ensembles such as the Metro Atlanta Philharmonic Orchestra, Raleigh Civic Symphony, latin jazz group Charanga Carolina and jazz fusion band SMYA.

In addition to her work as a performer and private flute teacher, Mansi is active in the classical and contemporary music communities. She currently serves on the executive boards of the Raleigh Civic Symphony Association and the Raleigh Area Flute Association, where she also directs the Silver Winds flute choir. Mansi curates Colors of Classical Music (@colorsofclassicalmusic), amplifying voices of color within the global classical music community.

Mansi holds undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science and Music Performance from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an M.S. in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University.

Geoff (Trumpet)

Geoff has been playing trumpet for over 35 years. At Penn State University, he was the trumpet section leader and loved performing in front of 100,000 fans at Beaver Stadium and at multiple bowl games, including the Rose Bowl. He is a member of Refiner's Brass and founding member, board member, and principal trumpet of Raleigh Community Orchestra. He enjoys playing in all settings - weddings, solos, pit orchestras, brass choirs and quintets, jazz bands, and large bands and orchestras. He is especially honored when asked to perform at funerals and solemn occasions, including playing Taps at the Lincoln Memorial in 2022.

Alison (Violin)

As a performer, Alison has concertized throughout the United States, appearing at prestigious music festivals, such as the National Orchestral Institute festival (College Park, MD) and Eastern Music Festival (Greensboro, NC), in addition to performing in Colorado, Wyoming, throughout the southeast region, in the Washington, D.C. Metro area, and currently in the greater triangle-area of North Carolina. A Colorado native, Alison earned degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Alabama, and received her Music Teaching Certification from the Peabody Institute in Baltimore.

Sonny (Cello)

As a cellist, arranger, teacher and coach, I believe that music helps us find connection with each other, and with the world at large. Through performing works of the past, as well as those of contemporary voices, I strive to weaken the barriers that separate us from each other.”
Sonny teaches and coaches music privately, as well as with Kidznotes, a music for social change program. Additionally, he is principal cellist for the Raleigh Civic Symphony, and Raleigh Civic Chamber Orchestra, both of which have a commitment to perform contemporary and traditional classical music in thematic context, connecting orchestral music to larger ideas.

Robert (Piano)

Robert L. Morehead, CAGO is the Director of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Wilson, NC and is a native of Pittsburgh, PA. Robert began his organ studies in Germany and counts Tassilo Schlenther, Anita Greenlee, W. Robert Morrison, and Stephen C. Williams among his instructors. For thirty years, Robert has held Director of Music positions in churches in the United States and in Germany including most recently Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Vienna, VA. Robert received his MM in Music History from West Chester University and his BM in Organ Performance with a Piano Teaching Certificate from Malone University. He has also earned a research award for his work on Ralph Vaughan Williams’ agnosticism and is a specialist in the organ jazz music of Dr. Joe Utterback. Robert also holds four certifications: A Piano Teaching Certificate from Malone University, The Service Playing and Colleague certificate from the American Guild of Organists and The Leistungsnachweis (D-Schein) from the Evangelische Kirche in Germany. He was also conductor of the Washington Saengerbund and has released four CDs: From Mendelssohn to Morehead (2008); Faith Musings (2009); Christmas Piano Improvisations (2014) and Jubellation (2016). He has also recorded the complete organ works of Antonin Dvořák and improvisations based on Lenten hymns. Recently, Robert has finished recording organ arrangements of African-American spirituals by Dr. Joe Utterback and is in the process of releasing this recording. As a private instructor, he teaches music theory, piano, and organ privately. Robert is happily married to his wife Miranda and considers his two children, Kieren (13 years old) and Lauryn (6 years old) a blessing. (www.rmorehead.com.)
